 Familiares niegan que se dedicara al negocio de estupefacientes y alertan que está muy enferma Fue enviada ayer a prisión preventiva por tres meses en la cárcel de Najayo, San Cristóbal, Mercedes Reyes, de 70 años, a quien la Dirección Nacional de Control de Drogas (DNCD) le allanó la vivienda el pasado sábado y declaró haber hallado un negocio de crack. La medida la dio una jueza de la Oficina Permanente de Atención Judicial. Familiares de la mujer negaron que se dedique a la venta de estupefacientes y advirtieron que se trata de una persona enferma, con un grave padecimiento de hipertensión y diabetes. Ramona Ivelisse Hernández, hija de Reyes, declaró que su madre no está ligada a la droga y que eso lo saben sus vecinos de la calle 42 en Capotillo, zona donde el pasado sábado la DNCD efectuó un operativo. Afirmó que su madre no tenía 60 gramos de mariguana, como se dice en el expediente que le formularon los agentes antinarcóticos. Decenas de personas del Capotillo visitaron ayer la Fiscalía del Distrito Nacional, para conocer la suerte de los detenidos en el operativo de la DNCD.
